Ordering an SSL certificate through Nakroteck

SSL Certificates 6 views 1 min read Updated 5 hours ago
Quick Answer

Pick between our free Let's Encrypt option and our paid commercial SSL certificates.

Every site should run on HTTPS. It protects your visitors, and Google uses it as a ranking signal. Nakroteck offers two kinds of certificates.

Free: Let\'s Encrypt (included)

Every shared and WordPress hosting plan includes a free Let\'s Encrypt certificate that auto-renews every 90 days. No action needed from you beyond pointing the domain at our hosting. It installs within an hour of provisioning.

You may want a paid certificate if you need:

  • An OV or EV certificate (validates your business name, shown to visitors).
  • A wildcard that covers unlimited subdomains with one cert.
  • A warranty (pays out if the cert fails to protect a transaction). Useful for e-commerce.

Order one

  1. Open the SSL Certificates page on the Nakroteck site.
  2. Pick the product that fits (DV, OV, EV, or wildcard).
  3. Check out and pay.
  4. After payment, you get a link to complete validation: either an email to an admin address, a DNS TXT record, or a file in your webroot.
  5. Once validation is done, we issue the cert. Install it using our installation guide.
