Installing an SSL certificate in Plesk

In Plesk, open SSL/TLS Certificates for the domain, upload the files, then assign the certificate in Hosting Settings.

If you bought a commercial SSL certificate, install it in Plesk after validation is complete.

Files you need

  • Certificate file.
  • Private key.
  • CA bundle or intermediate certificate.

Install in Plesk

  1. Login to Plesk.
  2. Open the domain.
  3. Click SSL/TLS Certificates.
  4. Upload the certificate files.
  5. Save.
  6. Open Hosting & DNS, then Hosting Settings.
  7. Select the new certificate for SSL/TLS support.
  8. Save.

Check the result

Open the site with https://. Click the browser padlock and confirm the certificate is issued for your domain.
