Quick Answer
In Plesk, open Databases, click Add Database, then create the database and user in the same form.
Most dynamic websites need a database. Plesk lets you create the database and database user from one screen.
Create the database
- Login to Plesk from the Nakroteck hosting service page.
- Click Databases.
- Click Add Database.
- Enter the database name.
- Select the related website.
- Create a database user and strong password.
- Save.
Connection details
- Host: localhost in most cases.
- Database: the database name you created.
- User: the database user.
- Password: the database user password.
- Port: 3306 unless your app says otherwise.
phpMyAdmin
Open phpMyAdmin from the Plesk database page when you need to import, export, or inspect database tables.
