Quick Answer
Point your custom domain at a Nak Builder site so visitors see your brand, not the temporary address.
You built a Nak Builder site on a temporary address. Now you want it to show up at yourname.com. Here is how.
If the domain is registered at Nakroteck
- Log in to the client area.
- Click Domains, then the domain.
- Open the Nameservers tab.
- Pick Use default Nakroteck nameservers and save.
- In Nak Builder, open Settings > Domain and select the domain from the dropdown.
- Click Connect. Nak Builder handles the DNS records from here.
If the domain is at another registrar
- Log in to your registrar.
- Set nameservers to ns1.nakroteck.net and ns2.nakroteck.net.
- Wait up to one hour for the change to take effect.
- In Nak Builder, connect the domain from Settings > Domain as above.
SSL for the connected domain
A free Let\'s Encrypt SSL is issued automatically within about 15 minutes of the domain connecting. Visit https://yourdomain.com and confirm the padlock is there before you share the link.
