How to set up email on Gmail, Outlook, iPhone, and Android

Quick Answer
Use IMAP for incoming mail, SMTP for outgoing mail, and your full email address as the username.
After creating a mailbox in Plesk, you can connect it to most email apps.
Recommended settings
- Incoming protocol: IMAP.
- Incoming server: mail.yourdomain.com.
- Incoming port: 993 with SSL/TLS.
- Outgoing server: mail.yourdomain.com.
- Outgoing port: 465 with SSL/TLS.
- Username: your full email address.
- Password: the mailbox password.
App notes
- Outlook: choose manual setup if automatic setup fails.
- Gmail: add the address under Accounts and Import.
- iPhone: choose Other, then Add Mail Account.
- Android: choose Other or IMAP, then enter the server settings.
